Bear and Boo are loveable Rottweilers from the same litter that visit Dogtopia of White Flint for playdates every week!

Why we love having them around:

- By those who aren’t in the doggy know, Rottweiler’s can seem an intimidating breed. But meet one, have them lick your face and have them try to smother you with love and any negative connotation is removed!

- We love Bear as a girl’s name. How cute?

- Her name fits her personality. She’s an active player in the Gym – mixing it up and making friends with everyone!

- Boo is a little (big) man and his name fits him as well!

- It takes Boo a little time to warm up to new dogs and people. He’s a sweetheart and once you’re his friend, you’ll find him nestled right behind your leg all day.

- They are politely sharing the title of Dog of the Week. We heard Bear is lobbying to change the name to “Rottie of the Week”… she’s gathering support in the playroom right now.

Awesome dogs and we’re so happy to see their wagging tails… Rottweilier’s don’t have tails… so… we’re so happy to see their wasgging read-ends coming into our lobby!

Hildy visits us every single day for daycare and she’s an awesome dog packed into a small package!

Why Hildy’s a rock star!

- The staff can entertain themselves for hours just playing fetch with her.

- Hildy’s best friend is Mia and they look like they could’ve come from the same litter!

- Hildy is a sweet little lady, but she definitely likes to get rough and tumble when she plays.

- She brings a lot of personality to the Romper Room and considering it’s full of Terriers, Yorkies, Shih-Tzus and similar breeds… that’s saying a lot!

- She’s a Basenji/Beagle mix. Enough said.

Yaki is a sweetheart Boston Terrier that’s a regular player here at Dogtopia of White Flint!

Yaki is super-duper-cool because…

• When we first met her she was just 12 weeks old and you could literally hold her in the palm of your hand!
• She’s a big girl now – one year old this past January, but she can still almost fit right in your hand. If only she’d hold still long enough 
• The inspiration for the very first Dogtopia was a Boston Terrier named Griffin, so we’re BIG fans.
• There’s nothing cuter than Yaki taking a break on the futon… it’s pretty much her futon.
• If the Romper Room were a high school Yaki would be the head cheerleader, prom queen and class president rolled into one! She makes friends with everyone and is never lacking for playmates.

Last week we asked everyone to send in their best Snow Dog pictures.

The pictures were great and it was SO hard to pic just one to be our Snow Champion!

But in the end… Spencer the Cavalier’s amazing ACTION shot reigned supreme! Spencer will receive a Dogtopia gift certificate for a complimentary Spa Day!

Catching up on the Dogtopia blog

We’ve had a great experience the first two months of the blog and we’re excited about expanding it even more!

Along with interesting doggie stories we find while perusing the net and sharing why we love this business so much (see the Why we love… Naya post) we also hope to make this a fun, interactive forum for everyone who enjoys Dogtopia!
