In 2005 the non-profit charity K9 Support was founded, with the goal of generating support and awareness for K9 handlers and their working dogs. A major part of that mission has been the creation and shipping of care packages wholly funded by donations from the community. To date over 3 1/2 tons of packages have been shipped to every branch of the military in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait and several other countries. This year the mission was expanded our mission to include K9s working with local law enforcement as well.

K9 Support has partnered with the City of Temecula’s Police K9 unit and we are thrilled to have them as the beneficiary of this year’s wash! Proceeds will defer costs of the equipment required for the safety and comfort of the dogs.

During the family-friendly event, your dog will be bubbled and scrubbed in return for a suggested donation of $10. Each dog will be given a fragrant spritz and a bandana to top of their fresh new look. In addition, raffles and pet-friendly vendors will combine for a festive atmosphere! Members of the K9 unit will also be on hand to discuss their important work and show off their dogs.

We had an amazing turnout for our Howl-O-Ween costume contest for our Temecula location.  Pugsley the Turtle was our official winner!!!  Way to go Pugsley.

Voting is now open at the national level.  The winner will receive a 5-day daycare pass to their favorite Dogtopia.  Not to mention bragging (barking) rights for the year!  Check out the link below to see all the creative costumes and cast your vote for the best!  Voting remains open until Monday, Nov. 2nd at 9am est. We now offer grooming services for your dog. Bring them in for a fun filled day of play and take them home refreshed and clean. Just take a look at some of these before and after pictures!

Professional Pet Photographer, Melissa Palomo, will be offering a discounted “mini” photo session of your dog and Santa Clause … yes … Santa Clause! You will be able to purchase photos at a limited time special rate for holiday gifts that you can give to your family and friends; you can also purchase holiday cards in plenty of time to mail out for the season.

Dog Food Drive Benefiting Animal Friends of the Valley:
Bring in a 10 lb bag of dog food during your photo session and you will receive a complimentary set of wallets.

Why not make this day a fun filled day for your dog:
Bring your dog in for a day of play in doggy daycare. Dog must pass our evaluation prior to attendance.

Have your dog groomed by our professional groomer in the afternoon. When you’re ready to pick your dog up for the evening Santa will be ready and waiting for your special photo session.

We will also have vendors on hand so you can shop for your holiday gift giving.

Pictures will be posted to our blog and voting will begin on October 23rd.  To vote for your favorite costume simply leave a comment here on our blog with the name of the dog who you think has the best costume. 

The lucky winner with the most votes by 5pm Wednesday, October 28th,  will receive a very special exclusive Dogtopia prize and will also go through to the Dogtopia National Competition for a chance to win a 5-day daycare pass!

Get your friends and family on board and have them submit their own picture for a chance to win.  The more entries we have, the more fun it will be!

When submitting your entry, please be sure to include your name, email address, and contact phone number, as well as your dog’s name, breed, and a title for their picture.

Remember: Costumes, while fun, can also be dangerous. Make sure your dog cannot get tangled, choked or otherwise injured in his or her Halloween costume. Never leave your pet unsupervised while in costume.

The Husky Meet Up was a blast this past weekend. We had a good turn out and it seemed that all the Huskies had a fun time playing and romping around in our gym. A few even stayed for grooming after their play time. They came out looking fluffy and refreshed! We look forward to hold many more of these meet ups as they are always so much fun to have.

Charity Dog Wash this Saturday: Come treat your dog to a mid-summer bath and spritz in support of Michelle’s Place, the Women’s Breast Cancer Resource Center.  All proceeds will support Michelle’s Place free programs and services.  The wash is Saturday, September 19 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.  A $10 donation is suggested per wash.

Activities: Doggy Baths include: shampoo, towel-dry, fragrant spritz and bandana. Volunteers will give your dog a full service bath. Raffle: Enter our raffle full of great prizes!
