In 2005 the non-profit charity K9 Support was founded, with the goal of generating support and awareness for K9 handlers and their working dogs. A major part of that mission has been the creation and shipping of care packages wholly funded by donations from the community. To date over 3 1/2 tons of packages have been shipped to every branch of the military in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait and several other countries. This year the mission was expanded our mission to include K9s working with local law enforcement as well.

K9 Support has partnered with the City of Temecula’s Police K9 unit and we are thrilled to have them as the beneficiary of this year’s wash! Proceeds will defer costs of the equipment required for the safety and comfort of the dogs.

During the family-friendly event, your dog will be bubbled and scrubbed in return for a suggested donation of $10. Each dog will be given a fragrant spritz and a bandana to top of their fresh new look. In addition, raffles and pet-friendly vendors will combine for a festive atmosphere! Members of the K9 unit will also be on hand to discuss their important work and show off their dogs.

We are now doing a special on daycare passes. For all customers if you buy a daycare pass Dogtopia will donate $1.00 for every day you buy to Animal Friends of the Valley in Lake Elsinore. Come on in and donate for a good cause!

Meet Squirt! Squirt is a 10 month old  black and white Chi-weenie looking for his forever home. He is on playful pup and loves playing with the doggies here at Dogtopia. His best friend is Dodger who is also a 10 month old Chi-weenie. Squirt is such a love and would love to just snuggle up in your lap and hang out when he is all done playing with his friends here at daycare. If you are interested in possible adopting Squirt please contact Pet Haven Rescue in Murrieta.

All the voting is done and the people have spoken. The winner of the National Howl-a-ween Costume Contest is Morrissey the Pom of Carry, NC. It was a close race! We had an amazing turnout for our Howl-O-Ween costume contest for our Temecula location.  Pugsley the Turtle was our official winner!!!  Way to go Pugsley.

Each year we ask you to send in your spooky, cute, original and outright AWESOME pictures of your dog in their Halloween gear for our “Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest”. We’re always thrilled to see our favorite four-legged clients dressed up for the holiday and this year was certainly no disappointment!

Choose your favorite and vote by leaving a comment with the dog’s name and costume. Voting is open until Wednesday, the 28th, at 5pm. Only one vote per person is allowed, but you can certainly pass the contest along to anyone and everyone you’d like to get the vote out for your fav!!
