Just a reminder that we close Friday, December 24th at 3:00 pm and will not open back up until Sunday, December 26th from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.    We will also close at 5:00 pm on Friday, December 31st and open back up on Sunday, January 2nd from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.

If you have not make your holiday reservations, please do so quickly.  We are starting to fill up.

As many of you know, we foster dogs for Second Chance Pet Adoptions.  We are proud to say that Number 19 went home on Saturday.  That’s 19 dogs that we have found homes for 15 months.  It sure makes you feel great inside.

Second Chance is hosting an event called “Stray From The Heart”.  It’s a chocolate and champagne tasting fundraiser to support the pets at Second Chance.  The event is Friday, February 12th from 7:30-10:30 pm.  Please go to their website at www.secondchancenc.org for more detail or to purchase tickets.

Here is a picture of Gigi (Foster dog #19) that went to her forever home this past Saturday.  We will be getting another foster dog next and will post his picture on the blog as well.

We have had quite a few new puppies visit us recently. Here are some pictures of new friendships made in the Romper Room!

Odie the Maltipoo kept watch over his new friend Mindy the Morkie. He's such a ladies man!!!

Lilly the Basset Hound puppy and Bogey the Lab Mix puppy had a blast wrestling on the futon!

Cassie and Smuckers liked to give each other kisses.

Please say hello to Lily and Odie.  Lily is a Yorkie Poo and Odie is a Maltipoo.  They are the latest Dogtopia couple that have found each other while attending daycare.  They look forward to seeing each other weekly and just really enjoy their play time together.  They couldn’t even wait to get into the playrooms to start.
