Just a reminder that we close Friday, December 24th at 3:00 pm and will not open back up until Sunday, December 26th from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.    We will also close at 5:00 pm on Friday, December 31st and open back up on Sunday, January 2nd from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.

If you have not make your holiday reservations, please do so quickly.  We are starting to fill up.

Don’t forget that tomorrow, Thursday, August 26th, is National Dog Day.

We can not think of a better day for your pup then to spend it at Dogtopia of Raleigh.  They will get special treats a nap time so be sure to tell us if their are certain treats your pup can’t eat.  Also, the 19th dog through the door will receive a free day of daycare.  Now how can you resist that one!

How can you resist these two babies!  They both deserve a forever home.

Dogtopia has lost another friend recently.  This time it is my dog, PJ.

PJ was my inspiration in opening Dogtopia and I know he enjoyed every minute he was here.  Thank you to every one who loved on him and gave him treats.  He was pretty demanding on those treats if he was behind the desk.  A special thanks to my best friend, Janet, who has helped us in the last year when he became sick.  He was a special dog and will always be in my families hearts.  He was my pretty boy!

Please say hello to Sweet Sallie.  She is our new foster dog and is looking for that forever home.

She is a happy dog that was found on along side of a country road.   Sallie absolutely loves to be petted and  love interacting with my humans.   She is house broken and crate trained.   Also up to date on all my shots and spayed.   She can get a little nervous around new animals, but once she has a chance to check them out, they will become best friends.   She lived on a chain outside most of her life so she is just learning the easy commands.

You will have to meet this one!  She would make a great addition to anyone’s home.

We found out today that Beemer (aka Little Bear) passed away last Saturday.  She was almost 13 years old and lived a great life with her Dad, Chuck.  I know she will be missed by many.

Is your pooch the biggest hoops fan on four legs? It’s time to prove it! Submit a picture of your dog sporting the colors of your favorite college by Sunday, March 21st and they will be entered in our bracket-style competition.

The winner will receive a gift basket full of treats, toys and a 10 day daycare pass! Submissions can be emailed to www.dogdaycare.com/nraleigh, dropped off at the front desk or taken at the Mutt Madness Party!  Yes, we said Mutt Madness Party.

Please join us on Saturday, March 20th from 3:00 – 5:00 pm in the Gym. Dress your pup in full costume and we would be happy to take their picture and submit it for the contest. We will have treats for all – canine and human. Come and let your pup see how well they can dribble (okay, push) a basketball. Voting will be via our blog again. It will start on Monday, March 22nd. Pictures will be displayed in the lobby as well. Once voting begins, get everyone you know to vote. Please, only one vote per person per bracket.

To really kick-off Mutt Madness, we will have ECU day on 3/15, UNC day on 3/16, Duke day on 3/17, NC State day on 3/18 and Wake Forest day on 3/19. If your dog comes to daycare dressed up in the colors of the team for the day, they will receive 1/2 day free of daycare!!! It’s true, come for the whole day and only be charged half.

What a great way to show your team spirit and start off the Mutt Madness!

We have two beautiful foster dogs here at Dogtopia of Raleigh.

One is Callie who is about 4 months old and the other is Cimmeron who is about a 1 Year 3 Months.  They are both wonderful dogs.  Please pass this along to your friends and family.  They need a forever home.
