Dogtopia of North Raleigh, NC Blog

We are happy to report that we raised over $800 for the Raleigh K9 unit on Sunday.  We would like to thank everyone who brough their pooches in for a nice bath and to meet to new friends.  The police department put on an excellent demonstration and we all enjoyed the day.  Below are a few pictures.  Please stop by any time.

We wanted to remind everyone that the annual Dogtopia Charity Dog Wash is approaching fast.

Please join us on Sunday, July 19th, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. All money raised will be donated to the US Police Canine Association Region 2 and will benefit the Raleigh Police Dept K9 unit, as well as other local K9 units.  It is to fund training, equipment and the care of retired K9s in the area.

Bring your dog to enjoy a brush-out, shampoo and towel dry. A $10 donation is suggested per wash and you get to go home with a clean dog!  We arehoping to wash a lot of dogs and are in need of towels. If you have any old towels, please consider donating them to us. We would greatly appreciate it!

The Raleigh K9 Unit will be on hand to do demonstrations as well.  You can let your dog enjoy a massage  by Susan King or a treat from Gourmutts.  We will also have our trainer, Kim Bishop here to do a dog walk challenge.  Second Chance Pet Adoptions will also be here with adorable, adoptable dogs. We will be raffling
off a 10 day daycare pass.
