Just a reminder that our small dog meetup is today (Saturday) from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.  The large dog meetup is tomorrow (Sunday) from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.  There are not cost for these meetups.  Come by and make new friends (not just dogs but people too).

Please join us on Sunday, July 19th, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm for our annual Charity Dog Wash. We hope to wash at least 50 dogs and raise hundreds of dollars which will be donated to the US Police Canine Association Region 2 and will benefit the Raleigh Police Department K9 unit, as well as other local K9 units.  The money raised will be used to fund training, equipment and the care of retired K9s in the area.

Bring your dog to enjoy a brush-out, shampoo and towel dry. A $10 donation is suggested per wash and you get to go home with a clean dog!  We will have a raffle table full of nice surprises.  The Raleigh K9 Unit will be on hand to do demonstrations as well.  We will have other vendors participating in this event.  We don’t want to spill all the beans just yet!

If anyone has any old towels that they would be willing to donate for this event, we would deeply appreciate it.  We are hoping to go through a lot of them.

Today, Ms. Phoebe came for daycare and she had a blast.  She kept Mr. Odie on his toes all day.  I think we might have something going on here.

We are very happy to report that we have now placed foster dog #10.  Since we have opened in October, we have found ten dogs homes.  Mona and her new Mom are very happy and what a perfect match.  We still have Hammie and Sheba that are ready for adoption.  Take a look at the pictures below and let us know if you would like to give them a forever home!
