Results have been tabulated and the final two are Tipton and Marlee.  They both took 67% of the votes for their bracket.  The voting for the Final Two will began on Monday morning and end at midnight on Tuesday.  Please encourage friends and family to vote for their favorite.  Remember only one vote per email.  The winner will be announced via the blog on Wednesday afternoon.  Go Tipton and Marlee!!!!!!

The results are in and the next battle is about to begin. Round 2 was a close one. In Match-up #1, Odie won with 52% of the votes. And in Match-up #2, Marlee is the winner with 43% of the votes (Chewie was a close second with 39% of the votes). Our Final Four is now set and voting begins immediately. Remember that we are only counting one vote per email address for each match-up (and yes, we are checking for duplicate emails .  Also, the previous votes will not count towards this round…it is a clean slate for everyone. Voting will end at midnight on Sat, Mar 28 so make sure you vote!

The results are in for Round 1 with Abby and Tipton as the winners of their match-ups. They will go head to head in voting starting on Friday. Congratulations Abby and Tipton…I have a feeling that we’re in for a close match on Friday!

The voting starts today for Round 2. Remember that you can vote for one fan from each match-up, all you have to do is post a comment on your favorite picture. The entries are in, the brackets are set…it’s time to vote! Our first Mutt Madness contest is ready to begin and it looks like there is some tough competition out there! Voting will begin today for the first half of round one. Each round will have 2 days of voting and the final winner will be announced on Wed, April 1. All you need to do to vote for your favorite fan is to post a comment on our blog. The picture with the most votes after 2 days will move onto the next round. Make sure you tell your friends and family to vote for your favorite picture!!

Please say hello to Lily and Odie.  Lily is a Yorkie Poo and Odie is a Maltipoo.  They are the latest Dogtopia couple that have found each other while attending daycare.  They look forward to seeing each other weekly and just really enjoy their play time together.  They couldn’t even wait to get into the playrooms to start.

Welcome to Breed Day at Dogtopia of Raleigh!

Every week we’ll honor one breed or mix type.  They’ll have a special play session at the half day rate and go home with a treat!  Please see the schedule below for dates and specific breed/mix.

Remember that rescue dogs get their first day of daycare for free!

Meet Bebe!

Just a reminder that on Saturday, March 17th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, Bob Gunter from RGunter Photography will be at Dogtopia to take pictures of you and your pooch.  For just $25, he will put the photo you chose onto a CD so you can get the size developed that you need at any photo center.  Please email us (www.dogdaycare.com/nraleigh) or call us (919-521-8083) and let us know if you are coming.

Is your pooch the biggest hoops fan on four legs? Enter Dogtopia’s 1st Annual Mutt Madness and prove it!

Submit a picture of your dog sporting the colors of your favorite college by Sunday, March 22nd and they’ll be entered in our bracket-style competition! Submissions can be emailed to www.dogdaycare.com/nraleigh or dropped off at the front desk.

Our blog will have the blow-by-blow details and voting will be done by the “crowds” via the comments section. You’ll be able to share the link with family, friends, co-workers and anyone else you can to really get out the vote for your pooch!

The First Round opens Monday, March 23rd and will continue every other day through-out the week until we reach our final 2!

We may not have a big trophy or a net for our winner to cut down, but the biggest fan will receive a basket of goodies, including movie passes, restaurant gift certificate and more!

We have also dedicated Thursday, March 19th as our official basketball day! Bring your pooch dressed in their favorite team for the day and you can enter the contest right then!  All dogs that have passed their doggy evaluation can join in on the fun.  At 4:00 pm, all parents are welcomed to come and see the paw-to-paw competition in the dog rooms.  Prizes will be awarded!

Oh – and the most important thing of all… bragging rights!
