Thanks to all of you for voting in our costume contest. It was a close race until the end. For our winner, Bugsy the Convict, it appears that crime does pay!!!! We guess there was just something in his face that made the look complete! He is now going on to compete against the other Dogtopia Stores for title of Grand Champion and a 5 day daycare pass. So PLEASE go vote for Bugs in our National Competition! Voting starts Oct 29th right here www.dogdaycare.com and goes through Halloween weekend.

Dogtopia Nashville Halloween Costume Contestants

Take a picture of your dog in their cute, original or hair-raisingly spooky Halloween costume and submit it to us by Thursday, October 22nd (late entries will be accepted). Photos may be emailed to the store (nashville@dogdaycare.com) or dropped off at the front desk.

Visit the official Dogtopia blog at www.doggyblogging.com for voting beginning Friday, October 23rd! Toys, treats and play at daycare are up for grabs, so warm up those Facebook, Twitter and blog accounts to get the vote out for your pup!

One lucky dog will be chosen from each location to compete in the national contest with a grand prize of a 5-Day Daycare Pass!

Hi! My name is Martin and I’m the Dog of the Week at Dogtopia! My mom and dad are the owners here, and we just opened a few days ago. Whew, what a relief. Now we get to play inside these huge rooms that they’ve been talking about for a while.

Today, we have two foster dogs from Happy Tails in the Toy Box, where our small dogs get to play (I’m a Husky so I play in the Gym with the bigger dogs). They are sisters named Marsha and Muffin; two lovable cocker-basset mixes that really love getting tummy rubs. Marsha loves to lounge and Muffin likes to chew on paper, so be careful not to drop any paper towels around her!

I hang out in the Gym with Willie; he’s a Husky too and we live together. We’re great friends and we think it’s fun to run around, wrestling and playing together. We are always looking for more friends to play with though! If you’re dirty, we offer baths, even self-service baths. That means your own mom and dad can bathe you if they want to.

And are your parents going away for Spring Break? Then come and stay with us! We’re offering special rates, so you can play with us while your mom and dad enjoy some fun in the sun. Hurry by and check it out because it’s a great deal!

Also, for the month of March, be sure to circle the 14th on your calendars. That’s going to be our big Grand Opening at Dogtopia and it’s going to be a blast. I know I’m excited; just look at my tail!

But if you can’t make it on March 14th, please still drop by! We’re located on 1315 8th Ave. South. We’d love to meet you and who knows… maybe if you’re lucky, you’ll get to meet me!
